The focus of the role is hands-on engineering - responding to breakdowns, resolving mechanical faults, and ensuring production downtime is kept to an absolute minimum. The role is predominantly mechanical, with exposure to pneumatics and basic electrical fault finding, and offers structured onboarding, paid overtime, and long-term stability.This is a role for someone who has a ''no job is too small'' mentality, enjoys being on the tools, problem-solving independently, and taking ownership of engineering issues as they arise.Job Responsibilities Responding to breakdowns across multiple production lines to minimise downtimeDiagnosing and repairing mechanical faults including motors, bearings, shafts, rollers, and drivesCarrying out reactive maintenance as the primary focus of the shiftCompleting planned preventative maintenance tasks where scheduledFault finding on pneumatic systemsCarrying out basic electrical fault finding including fuses, contactors, and drivesSupporting machinery set-ups and tooling changes for small batch production runsMaintaining ..... full job details .....
