- Routine setting up and maintenance of sewing machines and tables
- Repair of sewing machines as required
- Repair, maintain, and attend breakdowns of all plant and machinery, including building maintenance, and any other work allocated by the Engineering Manager, Technical Engineering, Operations and Production Directors
- Assist with the with the upgrade of equipment and installation of new equipment
- Complete hot work permits to ensure this work is undertaken in a safe manner
- Ensure maintenance activities are controlled and do not pose a risk of cross contamination
- Undertake callouts as scheduled by the Technical Engineering Director
- Maintain daily work records
- Ensuring all safe working procedures/instructions are always followed whilst performing maintenance and repair work
- Ensure all waste is correctly segregated and disposed of in the appropriate waste container.
- Have experience in a heavy/ plant environment
