Provide first-line mechanical maintenance and breakdown support to minimise equipment downtime. Manage mechanical engineering activities on shift while ensuring full compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements. Assist with planning and coordinating shift maintenance activities, providing specialist mechanical knowledge where required. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability, performance and efficiency. Investigate plant breakdowns and provide accurate technical information and reports to support Single Event Analysis (SEA).
