Due to ongoing investment and increased production demands, the business is looking to appoint a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team on a permanent day shift. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable manufacturer with a strong order book, significant investment plans and a long-term commitment to engineering excellence. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you''ll be responsible for maintaining and improving plant reliability across a busy manufacturing operation. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities Diagnose and repair faults on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems Maintain gearboxes, bearings, cylinders, valves, pumps and rotating equipment Perform welding, cutting, grinding and general fabrication work Support TPM and continuous improvement activities Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime Contribute to site safety, reliability and operational improvements Why Join? £35,000 basic salary Overtime paid at £20/hour Sunday overtime paid at £33.65/hour Permanent day shift Four-day working week Stable employer with long-term ..... full job details .....
