Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are working with heavy industrial manufacturer based in Bradford who have an opportunity for Mechanical Maintenance Engineer on days 8am till 4pm. The team is very split and Mechanical Maintenance Engineers will only be responsible for all mechanical breakdowns and proactive maintenance. There are a wide range of skilled engineers on site for you to work with and learn from, with lots of career progression opportunities should you wish to take this route. Responsibilities of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: Establish and carry out planned preventative maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability. Undertake planned and emergency repairs in a safe and timely manner including any follow up actions and recording of work using SAP. Working safely and following industry best practice. Developing Risk Assessment and Method Statements for all engineering activities. Working alongside contractors during planned maintenance opportunities. Manage and maintain stock levels of machinery spares and consumables. Carry out fault finding and diagnostics in emergency breakdown situations.
