Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Clevedon, North Somerset Salary: £50,000-£53,000 (With attendance allowance) Shift Pattern: 3-week rotating 12-hour shift pattern The Company A rapidly expanding manufacturing business supplying bespoke products to a wide range of sectors, including construction, engineering and manufacturing. The site operates across several specialist manufacturing areas, with this position being based within the extrusion side of the business. The Role We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance position with a strong mechanical and hydraulic bias. You will be responsible for keeping production equipment running effectively, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance and supporting the wider engineering team with fault finding and repairs. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across manufacturing equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns. Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Replace and repair bearings, seals and hydraulic components. Carry out component changes and straight swaps where required. Support preventative maintenance and TPM activities. Carry out general mechanical fault finding and repairs. Electrical maintenance and fault finding would be beneficial.
