Our client is looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join their Engineering team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become the subject matter expert for a dedicated production area, driving maintenance excellence, continuous improvement, and asset reliability within a modern manufacturing facility. This is a Monday to Friday role. Are you who we''re looking for? • Completed a mechanical apprenticeship with an HNC in Mechanical Engineering • Strong background in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment • Experience developing and managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes • Excellent fault-finding, root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a proactive approach • Focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement • Multi-skilled engineering experience would be advantageous • Good IT skills and experience maintaining engineering documentation Day-to-day, you''ll take ownership of the mechanical maintenance strategy within your assigned production department, ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards of reliability and ..... full job details .....
