Mechanical Maintenance Engineer City of London An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a prestigious commercial contract in the City of London. Based within a modern commercial office building, the successful candidate will join a small, dedicated on-site maintenance team. This is a Monday to Friday position, working 8:00am to 5:00pm, offering an excellent work-life balance with no call-out requirement. The role will involve carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a variety of mechanical and building services systems, ensuring the site remains fully operational, safe, and compliant at all times. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks Maintain and service Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs) Inspect, maintain, and repair pumps, bearings, and mechanical seals Conduct maintenance on sprinkler systems Perform water treatment duties, including tap temperature testing, dosing, and cooling tower inspections Monitor and record water temperatures Maintain chilled water systems Undertake general plumbing repairs and maintenance Assist with generator maintenance and testing Maintain pressurisation units Carry out basic ..... full job details .....
