Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Role: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)Location: Doncaster (Mexborough)Salary: £48,000 (£52,800 with bonus)Shifts: 4 on 4 off - 2 Days 2 Nights Industry: Manufacturing Benefits: Bonus Scheme: 10% of salary Flexible Holidays: Option to buy up to 3 additional days per year (after qualifying period). Key Responsibilities: Perform routine scheduled PPMs (Planned Preventive Maintenance) and respond promptly to equipment faults and breakdowns, ensuring all tasks are documented. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery, gaining in-depth knowledge to train other team members effectively. Diagnose breakdowns and apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve issues effectively. Requirements: Level 3 qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ-based) or higher in Mechanical Maintenance. Strong understanding and knowledge of health and safety protocols.
