Mechanical Technician Salary: 44,341.44 Location: Southampton Sector: Engineering A leading engineering services provider is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join its team. This role is focused on rotating equipment maintenance, supporting high-quality repair, rebuild, and commissioning activities in line with company standards.The successful candidate will work closely with site supervisors and engineers to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and operational excellence.The RoleYou will be responsible for the removal, inspection, repair, rebuild, installation, and commissioning of a variety of rotating equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, turbines, electric motors, and valves. You will work under the direction of site and client supervisors, supporting both corrective and preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with Trillium HSEQ and client-specific requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out maintenance, repair, and commissioning of rotating equipment to meet customer and company standards.Produce strip down reports, rebuild records, and test documentation accurately and on time.Follow engineering drawings, method statements, and technical specifications with precision.Maintain high standards of health and safety, housekeeping, and 5S practices in the workshop and on-site.Ensure permit-to-work procedures and other site requirements are strictly followed.Collaborate effectively ..... full job details .....
