We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient running of production equipment within a busy manufacturing environment, for our client in Carlisle. Working a Monday to Friday, 3 shift pattern (6 - 2, 2 - 10, 10 - 6) with an excellent benefits package and generous holiday entitlement. Responsibilities

  • Set up and optimise production lines
  • Carry out PUWER checks and planned preventative maintenance
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to minimise downtime
  • Perform changeovers and die/tool changes
  • Support wider maintenance activities and process improvements


Requirements

  • 2-3 years'' mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing with a well-rounded mechanical aptitude including fitting, machining and welding.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
