Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in the South West Area, mainly at our Wickwar Quarry. You''ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving mechanical systems, machinery and production equipment to ensure maximum reliability and efficiency. You will conduct routine maintenance, diagnosing mechanical faults, and implementing preventative and corrective maintenance programs to minimise downtime and optimise performance. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systemsDiagnose and troubleshoot mechanical defectsReplace or repair worn or defective components such as bearings, shafts, pumps, and valvesCarry out emergency breakdown repairs promptly to minimise production lossDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtimeMonitor equipment performance and use predictive maintenance techniques Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment historyAssist in the ..... full job details .....
