Working within a large team of multi-skilled engineers, you will ideally have experience of fast moving manufacturing environments with a mechanical bias, but sound electrical knowledge. What is on offer for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: 61k Package 4 on 4 off (4 days and 4 nights) Bolton Food manufacturing business Overtime - plenty of extra earning potential available Large teams of engineers On-going site expansion projects Job Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Food/FMCG engineering and be accustomed to fast paced environments. Work in partnership with the Engineering Manager, production staff and technicians to carry out repairs to process equipment and plant machinery. PLC Fault Finding (not coding). Mechanically biased but electrical aptitude also required. Responding to break downs and reactive maintenance. Troubleshooting and practical fault finding on plant and mechanical/electrical machinery. Carry out planned inspection routes on process plant and proactive maintenance schedules. Following site HandS procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
