What will I be doing?

You’ll be involved in the assembly, testing, and development of electrochemical cells – supporting material preparation, running defined test protocols, and maintaining lab standards.

Key responsibilities:

Assemble and test electrochemical cells and cell stacksPrepare lab materials (e.g. membranes, electrolytes – training provided)Operate battery/cell test equipmentMaintain accurate records and support continuous improvementManage lab stock, equipment calibration, and general upkeep

We’re looking for:

Level 3 qualification (A-Level, NVQ, BTEC) in a science/engineering field, or 5+ years’ lab experiencePractical experience in engineering, electronics, or RandD labsMethodical, safety-first approach with strong attention to detailWillingness to learn and contribute to a small, agile teamFamiliarity with 5S or wet chemistry is a bonus, but not essential
