Mechanical Inspector

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit someone as a Mechanical Inspector for 12 months. Role: Mechanical Inspector Pay: 29.02 per hour via Umbrella (rising to 30.38 per hour after 12 weeks) Contract: Monday- Friday, 37 Hours per week,12-month contract Location: Bolton IR35 Status: Inside Security Clearance: BPSS however will require Security clearance.Requirements Certify the product in line with the product certification procedureExamining for correct assemblyExamining the finish of all parts to detect faulty finishing or painting, deterioration of surfaces etc.Inspect for physical damageIntermediate inspection checks non product certificationMonitor product certification operatorsCheck and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data packControl defect items via segregation from good productRaise and maintain relevant data records/defect reportsProduce relevant inspection/quality control documentation/history sheetsCare for and use specialised inspection toolsMaintain product certification and approval via regular auditsEnsure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing processEnsure inspection times are metPossess a versatile skill base with the capability to apply these skills across a range of tasksMaintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product qualityMaintain a safe working environmentMaintain a good housekeeping policyWilling to contribute to an environment of process improvement.
