The ideal candidate will have experience in CNC machining and precision manufacturing environments.Education and ExperienceAdvanced Apprenticeship or Higher Education qualification in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)Proven experience as a Mechanical/Quality Inspector in a CNC or precision engineering environment (essential)Key Skills and KnowledgeProficient with handheld measuring tools, linear height gauges, bore gauges, surface finish testers, etc.Strong numeracy and attention to detailAbility to read engineering drawings and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDandT)Familiarity with Microsoft Word and ExcelKnowledge of quality systems (preferably AS9100)CMM operation experience (Mitutoyo preferred)Excellent communication and time management skillsMain Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform goods-inwards, in-process, and final inspections using various tools and techniquesConduct routine visual and dimensional inspections for surface defects and other quality criteriaProduce inspection reports and complete ..... full job details .....
