Mechanical Inspector (Precision Engineering) Ferndown, Dorset Competitive Salary + Flexible Hours Collide Technical is working with a leading precision engineering company based in Ferndown, and is currently seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join their quality team. The Role You will be responsible for the inspection of precision-engineered components, ensuring all products meet strict quality and aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities Inspecting machined components to engineering drawings and specifications Performing first-off, in-process, and final inspection Using a range of inspection equipment (verniers, micrometres, gauges, etc.) Completing inspection documentation and quality reports Supporting quality investigations and non-conformance processes Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail Managing your own workload with a high level of autonomy What We re Looking For Experience as a Mechanical Inspector within precision engineering Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience using manual inspection equipment CMM experience desirable (training provided if required) Background in aerospace or highly regulated industries beneficial Self-motivated with a quality-first mindset What s On Offer Flexible working ..... full job details .....
