Duties will include: Bogie overhaul, damage repair and engineering Wheelset overhaul, repair and analysis Bogie chassis repair and cleaning Bogie and gearbox repair Wheel exchanges Bearing, axle and wheel mounting Overhaul and repair of components and sub-assemblies Re-engineering and production of spare parts The role involves carrying out mechanical repair and replacement work on rolling stock to ensure trains are safe, reliable and defect-free.
