Mechanical Fitters

Location: Abingdon (On-Site)
Rate: -24/hour (Umbrella PAYE)
Duration: Until June 2027

We''re recruiting Mechanical Fitters for a long-term contract at a busy industrial site in Abingdon.

• Assembly and preparation of mechanical components
• Maintenance, modification, and installation work
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Supporting wider engineering teams to deliver projects
• Working to high standards of safety and quality

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience in industrial/mechanical environments
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Desirable: Vacuum systems or cooling systems knowledge

• Full-time on site
• BPSS clearance required (clearance can be obtained prior to start)
