Job Title: Mechanical Fitter/Assembler
Location: St. Helens, Merseyside (WA10 1HF)
Salary: £26,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
Shifts: Monday- Thursday 08:00- 16:30 and Fridays 08:00- 13:00hrs
Contract: Permanent

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter/Assembler to join a well-established company, who are market leaders in designing, manufacturing and fitting specialist pressure valves and gauges for the Oil, Gas industries.

As the Mechanical Fitter/Assembler your duties will be;

- Conduct maintenance, servicing and assembly of relief valves.
- Deburring and cleaning the relief valves.
- Testing, calibrating and painting components.
- Attend customer sites to conduct annual services/replace old components.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring all work meets compliance and safety standards.

The successful Mechanical Fitter/Assembler will have the following skills;

- Some experience of working within a mechanical fitting/engineering role.
- Any experience working within the oil/gas/chemical industry would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a professional customer approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Hold a current full UK driving licence.
