As part of this, they are looking to add a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Engineer to their established team.What you''ll be doing:Working on a rotating 3-shift pattern (Mornings/Afternoons/Nights), you will take responsibility for maintaining and improving the mechanical performance of a busy production facility. Your role will be hands-on, covering breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and improvement projects.Key responsibilities will include:Carrying out planned maintenance and reactive repairs on mechanical production equipmentDiagnosing faults and performing root cause analysis to minimise downtimeSupporting machinery upgrades and installationsMaintaining pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulics/pneumaticsWorking alongside engineering colleagues to deliver continuous improvement initiativesEnsuring compliance with health and safety and site standardsWhat you''ll bring to the team:A recognised mechanical engineering qualification (minimum NVQ Level 3 or HNC equivalent)Time-served, apprentice-trained background in a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong mechanical fault-finding and repair skillsExperience working on a variety of mechanical systems and production equipmentA proactive attitude and commitment to safe ..... full job details .....
