Mechanical Fitter / Welder FabricatorLocation: Doncaster, Balby Salary: Up To 49,400 + Overtime (1.5x)Hours: 50 hours per week (7:00am - 5:00pm)The OpportunityWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established industrial business within a heavy plant environment.This is a hands-on role for an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Welder Fabricator who is confident working on large machinery and carrying out heavy-duty welding and fabrication.You will be a key part of the engineering team, helping to maintain and improve plant equipment in a busy, fast-paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance, testing, repair and installation of motors and gearboxesWorking on conveyor systems, including bearing maintenance and removal of spill pointsCarrying out heavy-duty welding and fabrication (MIG and Stick - TIG desirable)Supporting plant improvements and mechanical upgradesAttending breakdowns and completing planned maintenance tasksWorking closely with site management to ensure maximum uptimeSkills and ExperienceTime-served Mechanical Fitter / Welder FabricatorStrong background within heavy plant or industrial environmentsProven experience with MIG and Stick welding (TIG desirable)Confident working with conveyors, motors, gearboxes and bearingsBasic electrical knowledge (advantageous)Proactive, adaptable and able to hit the ground runningHow to ApplyIf this role sounds like a good fit, please apply with your CV.Alternatively, feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion.Email: ..... full job details .....
