The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and machinery. Job Specification: Assemble and install mechanical components, machinery, and equipment Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Carry out routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical systems Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments Ensure all work meets health and safety standards and company procedures Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines Conduct testing and commissioning of equipment where required Personal Specifications: Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Experience with mechanical assembly and maintenance Knowledge of health and safety regulations Good communication and teamwork skills NVQ/City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Rate negotiable depending on experience Contract
