Working within a skilled workshop team, the Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for building and assembling machinery to a high standard, contributing to both small batch and larger scale projects in a collaborative environment.Preparing mechanical components prior to assembly, including de-burring and reamingAssembling complete machines in small batch productionSupporting the build and assembly of larger, more complex machineryInterpreting and working from technical drawingsFollowing established build procedures with strong attention to detailTesting completed buildsWorking both independently and as part of a teamMaintaining workshop organisation and cleanliness to a high standardDemonstrating a proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvementRequirements The successful Mechanical Fitter will have experience within a mechanical assembly, workshop or fitting role, with the ability to read technical drawings highly desirable.
