Mechanical Fitter / Machine Builder Location: Beccles, Suffolk Salary: 33,000 per annum + Overtime Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter, Machine Builder or Mechanical Assembly Engineer looking for a new opportunity? We''re working with an established engineering business in Beccles that designs and manufactures bespoke automation equipment and machinery for customers across a range of industries. They''re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Fitter to join their team, working on the assembly and build of complex mechanical systems and machinery. This isn''t a repetitive production assembly role. You''ll be working with a variety of mechanical components, building equipment from engineering drawings and ensuring everything fits together accurately. What You''ll Be Doing Building and assembling bespoke machinery and mechanical systems. Working from engineering drawings, technical specifications and assembly instructions. Carrying out precision mechanical fitting, alignment and adjustments. Using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring equipment. Assembling individual components into larger mechanical units. Checking completed assemblies for accuracy, fit and quality. Identifying and resolving mechanical assembly issues. What We''re Looking For Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Machine Builder, Mechanical Assembler or Assembly Technician. Confident reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings. ..... full job details .....
