You''ll be working predominantly off-site at customer locations, assembling, installing, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.Travel time is paid and a company van + fuel card is provided. This is a varied role - no two days are the same and you won''t be stuck in a workshop.Key DutiesBuild and install mechanical systems, structures and industrial equipment on customer sites, working to spec and deadlines.Carry out planned preventative maintenance to keep machinery running efficiently and minimise downtime.Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs on industrial equipment - bearings, gearboxes, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps etc.Read and work from engineering drawings to construct, install and modify mechanical systems and structures.Work safely on customer sites, follow permits/RAMS, and maintain high standards of workmanship.Complete job sheets, service reports and highlight any issues/recommendations to the client.RequirementsProven experience in assembly, installation and maintenance of industrial machinery/equipment.Strong mechanical fitting skills - fitting, alignment, fault diagnosis, hand tools + power tools.Ability to read and interpret engineering ..... full job details .....
