The Role This role is part of our Saab Seaeye underwater robotics business unit in Fareham.As a Mechanical Fitter you will be tasked with the assembling a variety of small and large mechanical assemblies to customer specification. Key Responsibilities: Assemble large Tether Management Systems, ROV chassis and associated mechanical assemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.Carry out mechanical assembly activities including: Bolting and aligning heavy sub-assemblies and structural frames.Installing mechanical components and hardware.Routing, bending and connecting hydraulic hoses and pneumatic lines.Securing wire harnesses, looming and carrying out basic cable routing.Filling fluid reservoirs, bleeding systems and checking for leaks.Support Research and Development activities, prototype builds, trials and product improvement projects as required.Be willing and ..... full job details .....
