Mechanical Fitter Wanted! Location: Leicester Full Time Salary: £32K (£49K OTE including overtime) On SiteWe re working with a market-leading manufacturer based in Leicester, specialising in heavy plant equipment. Due to continued growth, they re now looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to join their workshop team.This is a hands-on role where you ll be building large-scale machinery from the ground up ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and being part of a solid engineering environment.Roles and Responsibilities Building and assembling plant machinery from scratchWorking from detailed engineering drawingsUsing a range of hand tools and workshop equipmentSupporting with installation and fitting of mechanical componentsWorking as part of a skilled shop floor team Requirements Engineering or mechanical backgroundExperience building or assembling machinery/equipmentAbility to read and work from engineering drawingsConfident using hand toolsComfortable in a physical, hands-on roleHappy working in a workshop and occasionally outdoors in the elements What s On Offer £14 £17 per hour depending on experienceStable, long-term opportunity with a well-established businessPlenty of overtime availableOpportunity to work on large, interesting engineering projectsSupportive team environment Next StepsApply to this Mechanical Fitter role through this advert.
