Mechanical Fitter We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team on a permanent night shift basis. Location: Doncaster DN11 Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotational shift days and afternoons 6am -2:30pm and 2pm-10:30pm Salary: £ 20.96 / hr (£43,590 per annum) Key Responsibilities: Install, assemble and fit mechanical and electrical equipment and machinery. Carry out planned and preventative maintenance. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical manuals. Carry out electrical wiring, connections and basic fault finding. Assemble, align and adjust mechanical components. Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively. Carry out inspections and testing of equipment. Identify potential faults and report issues to the appropriate person. Work alongside other engineers and maintenance personnel to minimise equipment downtime. Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs and work carried out. Follow company health and safety procedures at all times. ..... full job details .....
