As a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for the maintenance of the train interiors for an operational fleet. This will consist of variety of tasks to ensure all fittings and fixtures are presentable, functional and safe. The role You will check the condition of specified fittings and fixtures within the train interiors and carry out any necessary repairs. This will include seating, windows, table trays, toilets, baby change area, hand dryers, paint repairs, window glazing etc. Activities will include quality checks, basic mechanical fitting, general condition maintenance, graffiti removal / heavy cleaning and condition reporting.
