Core responsibilities for these varied and challenging Mechanical Fitter positions will include (but not be limited to): Assembling and building machinery from engineering drawings. Fitting mechanical components including bearings, motors, gearboxes, shafts and rollers. Installing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Carrying out mechanical fault finding, adjustments and repairs. Testing and inspecting machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment safely. Supporting machinery installation and commissioning when required. Working closely with fabrication and engineering teams. Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety.
