This role involves repairing and maintaining a range of industrial rotating equipment, including AC and DC motors, motorized gearboxes, pumps, fan units, generators, and other associated machinery. Work is split between 80% workshop-based repairs and 20% on-site servicing.Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Fitter: Diagnose faults, dismantle, and repair industrial equipment.Test, inspect, and service motors, pumps, and gearboxes.Handle a wide variety of components, from small fan units to large-scale industrial motors.Provide clear fault reports and relay findings to management.Occasionally travel to client sites using a company vehicle (site work experience and CCNSG passport advantageous).Maintain high health and safety standards.
