You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure machinery reliability, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement projects across the site.Sector: ManufacturingNon-Negotiable Requirements for the Mechanical Fitter Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent)Previous experience working as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter or Mechanical Maintenance EngineerStrong fault-finding and mechanical maintenance skillsExperience working within an industrial, manufacturing, production or processing environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a team Requirements for the Mechanical Fitter Carry out planned preventative maintenance activitiesRespond to mechanical breakdowns and equipment failuresDiagnose and repair faults on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, motors and associated ..... full job details .....
