This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled mechanical engineer who can work independently and provide effective maintenance support across a busy industrial site. Role Overview You will be responsible for providing a safe, proactive and cost-effective mechanical maintenance service across the site, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum. Key Responsibilities Carry out mechanical maintenance safely and in line with company standards. Diagnose and repair faults on mechanical equipment. Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively. Carry out both planned and reactive maintenance. Install and commission mechanical equipment. Maintain and repair equipment including pumps, valves and gearboxes. Support contractors working on site when required. Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
