A well-established engineering specialist is looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join its field-based team. You will work primarily across wastewater treatment facilities, delivering mechanical engineering projects involving industrial plant, pumps, pipework and process equipment. This is more than a standard fitting position. You will lead a two-person site team, manage jobs from arrival through to completion and work alongside highly experienced engineers. A clear succession plan also offers genuine scope to progress into a more senior position as the business develops. What You''ll Be Doing Leading a two-person mechanical field team on customer sites. Installing, maintaining, repairing and refurbishing mechanical plant and process equipment. Working on pumps, pipework, screens and associated wastewater equipment. Taking responsibility for jobs from initial site assessment through to completion. Diagnosing mechanical faults and identifying practical, effective solutions.
