Due to continued project demand, they are looking to recruit experienced Mechanical Fitters for a long-term contract.Key Responsibilities Carrying out the overhaul, refurbishment and mechanical assembly of heavyengineering equipment. Stripping, inspecting and rebuilding mechanical components to engineeringspecifications. Replacing worn or damaged components and carrying out mechanical modificationswhere required. Using engineering drawings, work instructions and technical documentation tocomplete work accurately. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining safe workingpractices.Person Profile Proven experience working as a Mechanical Fitter within a heavy engineering,manufacturing or industrial environment. Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions. Experience carrying out mechanical overhauls, repairs and rebuilds. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Important Information This role is based in Derby - no digs or expenses allowance is available.
