Due to continued growth, the company is looking to add several experienced Mechanical Fitters to an experienced team responsible for the repair, overhaul and refurbishment of industrial rotating equipment.This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter who enjoys strip-downs, fault finding, rebuilding machinery and solving mechanical problems on a daily basis.The Mechanical Fitter RoleAs a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for:Stripping and dismantling industrial machineryDiagnosing mechanical faults and component failuresRepairing and rebuilding gearboxes, pumps and motorsReplacing bearings, seals and mechanical componentsWorking on industrial rotating equipmentConducting overhauls and refurbishmentsReassembling and testing equipmentOccasionally supporting customer site work when requiredThis Mechanical Fitter position is predominantly workshop based and offers a varied workload with no two days being the same.What We''re Looking ForWe would love to hear from experienced Mechanical Fitters with backgrounds including:Heavy mechanical fittingRotating equipmentGearbox repairPump ..... full job details .....
