This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical assembly skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work to demanding build schedules.Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical FitterRead, interpret, and work accurately from assembly and pneumatic drawingsSupport the mechanical and pneumatic assembly of machinery and spare parts to a high standard Run field wiring in preparation for electrical fitters Conduct routine inspections on returned machinery to assess functionality and condition Identify mechanical faults and report findings to the Shopfloor Foreman Carry out testing on equipment following repairs and maintenance activities Work to production deadlines and build schedules Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality at all times What We''re Looking For in a Mechanical FitterPrevious experience as a Mechanical Fitter is essential Proven experience building bespoke or special-purpose machinery Ability to read and interpret assembly and pneumatic drawingsStrong fault-finding and problem-solving abilitiesElectrical fitting, machine wiring, and pneumatic ..... full job details .....
