Mechanical Fitter Onshore

Working at our clients facility in Altens. There could be work on remote sites in Scotland. If so accommodation and meals paid. Working hours Monday - Thursday 0700 - 1530 and Friday 0700 - 1300. The main purpose of this position is to carry out the removal, disassembly, refurbishment, assembly, installation and commissioning of mechanical components in a safe and responsible manner at all times. Main Responsibilities Carry out the removal / Installation of mechanical components from the customer''s sites Disassembly / assembly of mechanical components as required Undertake identification and labelling of all mechanical components for traceability and ID Cleaning / protecting mechanical components as required Carry out conditional reporting on mechanical components, liaising with the relevant Project Engineer Identifying mechanical components requiring replacement and reporting to the relevant Project Engineer Carry out dimensional checks and sizing of mechanical components using calibrated equipment Carry out refurbishment of mechanical components as required Undertake onsite commissioning of mechanical components on customer sites Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and make appropriate use of PPE at all times Work to the requirements of CDM regulations 2015 Work to HSE ACOPs, customer rules and specifications, company work instructions and route cards at all times Represent the company in a professional manner at all times Carry out any other reasonable task / ..... full job details .....
