Mechanical Fitters Required - Night Shifts - Milton Keynes 30.00 per hour On-Going Contract Start 19th October 2026Proactive Global are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters for an upcoming ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) installation project in Milton Keynes.The project involves the installation of a 4-way pallet shuttle system, including racking structures, shuttle rails and associated mechanical equipment.We are looking for experienced fitters with a background in industrial mechanical installations, ideally within warehouse automation, conveyor systems or pallet racking.Job DetailsLocation: Milton KeynesStart Date: Monday 19th October 2026Working Days: Monday to FridayShift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)Rate: 25.00 per hour UmbrellaDuties Will IncludeMechanical installation and assembly of ASRS racking structures.Installation of shuttle rails, supports, brackets and associated components.Setting out, levelling and alignment of mechanical equipment.Drilling, anchoring and securing structural components.Working from mechanical drawings and installation instructions.Assisting with the positioning and installation of equipment.Carrying out installation checks and rectifying snags.Working safely alongside the installation team to meet project deadlines.RequirementsValid CSCS card - essential.Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Installer.Experience working on industrial installation projects.Ability to read and understand ..... full job details .....
