Mechanical FitterHeathrow Airport£25.00 per hour (Uplifts for Night and weekends) Ongoing Days, Nights, WeekendsThe CompanyMJM is currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters to work at Heathrow Airport on a long-term basis.You''ll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrow''s critical infrastructure-keeping systems running efficiently in one of the world''s busiest airports.The ideal candidate will have experience of installing or maintaining conveyor systems or have worked in a similar environment on industrial sized equipment.The RoleAs a Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter based at Heathrow, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of conveyor systems, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.Your duties will include: Installing, assembling, and commissioning conveyor systems and associated mechanical equipmentCarrying out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and servicing on conveyor systemsDiagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out reactive repairs to minimise operational disruptionReplacing and repairing conveyor components, including rollers, bearings, belts, motors, and gearboxesWorking from engineering drawings and following safe working practices during installation and maintenance activitiesCollaborating with colleagues and site teams to ensure projects are completed on time and conveyor systems remain fully operational About You Proven ..... full job details .....
