Mechanical FitterHeathrow Airport£25.00 per hourOngoingDays, Nights, WeekendsUplifts in place for nights and weekends.The CompanyMJM is currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters to work at Heathrow Airport on a long-term basis.You''ll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrow''s critical infrastructure-keeping systems running efficiently in one of the world''s busiest airports.The RoleAs a Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter based at Heathrow, you will be responsible for maintaining automated systems to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and equipment availability.Your duties will include: Maintaining automated systems to a high operational standardCarrying out fault-finding, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenanceDiagnosing and resolving mechanical faultsWorking collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth system performance About You Proven experience installing and maintaining industrial-sized systems (airport, logistics, or manufacturing environments)Recognised mechanical qualification - City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or higher)Valid CSCS Card - essentialFlexible to work a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekendsStrong fault-finding skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset Desirable ExperienceIt would be advantageous if you also have: Experience in a similar setting, manufacturing, industrial, or automated environmentA 5-year checkable work history, required for Airside pass ..... full job details .....
