Mechanical FitterHeathrow Airport£25.00 per hourOngoing ContractDays, Nights, WeekendsAdditional pay rates apply for night and weekend shifts.About the CompanyMJM is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a skilled team at Heathrow Airport on a long-term basis.You will play a vital role in maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrow''s critical infrastructure, ensuring systems operate efficiently in one of the world s busiest airports.Role OverviewAs a Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter based at Heathrow, you will be responsible for the upkeep and optimisation of automated systems to maximise productivity, efficiency, and equipment availability.Your key responsibilities will include: Maintaining automated systems to a high operational standardConducting fault diagnosis, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenanceIdentifying and resolving mechanical faults promptlyCollaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless system performance Candidate Profile Proven experience installing and maintaining large-scale industrial systems, ideally within airport, logistics, or manufacturing environmentsRelevant mechanical qualification, such as City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or above)Valid CSCS Card mandatoryAvailability to work a rotating schedule covering days, nights, and weekendsStrong fault-finding skills with a proactive, safety-conscious approach Desirable ExperienceThe following would be advantageous: Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or ..... full job details .....
