Mechanical FitterMaidstone Kent 17-20.50 p/h Door to Door Our client, a leader in the water industry, is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at the head office. The successful applicant will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment, predominantly within the South East region, including Kent, London, Essex, Sussex, and Hampshire.Key Responsibilities:Install, commission, and service wastewater treatment equipment such as pumps, blowers, valves, and filtration systemsPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical componentsTroubleshoot system faults and diagnose operational issues at customer sitesProvide technical support and training to operators and clientsEnsure systems are operating in compliance with safety and environmental standardsPrepare and submit detailed service reports and documentationCollaborate with engineering and project teams to optimise system performanceRespond to emergency service calls and resolve issues in a timely mannerMaintain spare parts inventory and ensure tools and equipment are in good conditionStay current with equipment manuals, manufacturer updates, and regulatory changesJob Requirements:Experience in field service, preferably in wastewater or water treatment systemsFamiliarity with mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systemsAbility to read engineering drawings, ..... full job details .....
