As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment in water treatment plants and associated infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong technical skills and experience in industrial mechanical fitting, looking to take on freelance work.Key Responsibilities:Installation of mechanical and pipe work systems within water treatment facilities.Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.Carrying out preventive and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, and motors.Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and project goals.Managing own work schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks.Skills and Experience Required:Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, preferably in the water industry or similar sectors such as utilities or manufacturing.CSCS CardStrong understanding of mechanical systems, pumps, valves, and other equipment used in water treatment.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.Competent in using hand tools and machinery required for mechanical fitting.Excellent problem-solving skills and ..... full job details .....
