This role will involve the mechanical assembly, installation and fitting of large-scale industrial machinery and equipment . You will be working from engineering drawings and technical instructions to build, assemble and install mechanical components to a high standard. The Role As a Mechanical Fitter, your responsibilities will include: Mechanical assembly and fitting of large industrial machinery and equipment Working from engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical specifications Fitting mechanical components including shafts, bearings, motors, gearboxes and other assemblies Using a range of hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment Carrying out installation, alignment and adjustment of mechanical components Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical faults where required Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the required quality standards Working safely and following all health and safety procedures The Candidate The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Machine F...
