Mechanical Fitter

Kinetic Skills and Trades are currently recruiting for qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitter/Engineers for positions based in North Manchester. The roles are on a contract basis for a minimum of 6-12 months+ initially, but likely to go on much longer.The roles are commutable from all areas of North Manchester and also Salford, Oldham, Trafford etc. Key functions of this position include, but are not restricted to, mechanical build, strip and assembly of capital machinery. Hourly rates will be from 23.07/hr PAYE and 25.94 for hours over 39 hours. WEEKLY OVERTIME AVAILABLE Core hours: 6-2pm Mon to Thur 6-1pm Fri. 2-10pm Mon - Thur and 1-8pm Fri Qualification, Knowledge, Skill, Aptitude, Experience Required include: ESSENTIAL: Time served - recognised apprenticeship. Read/understand mechanical assembly drawings. Flexible approach to working hours. Continually self-appraise on current and developing HandS Regulations. DESIRABLE: Pneumatic, hydraulic and other mechanical systems. Working to tight tolerances. Installation of bearings and various seals.
