Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will have: A recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or City & Guilds Level 3). Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. The ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings. Welding, grinding, and oxy-acetylene cutting experience. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
