Mechanical Fitter

PeterboroughSalary - Negotiable DOEMonday - Friday days.Your new role:Based in Peterborough, you will be joining the UK''s leading water/ clean water equipment and processing manufacturing business, who now, due to continued growth, are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their engineering team on a 12 month fixed term contract.Offering a range of industry-leading benefits, including private healthcare, a generous holiday allowance and other perks, this is an excellent time to join this fast-expanding company in a hands-on maintenance role!Key Responsibilities and Duties:Assemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical components to ensure optimal equipment functionality.Perform refurbishment and fabrication of parts and equipmentCalibrate and validate instruments to maintain accuracy and complianceWork independently or collaboratively with qualified fitters, fabricators, welders, and electricians on larger projectsQuality inspection of equipment, machinery and parts.This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.Skills and Experience required:Previous experience in a similar Mechanical fitting/assembly/ fabrication roleExperience in a similar fast-paced factory/plant environmentAbility to read and understand technical drawingsExperience and ability to use handheld machinery, equipment and tools.Able to work individually and/or within a team environmentWhat you need to do now if you''re interested in this role:Click ''apply now'' to forward an ..... full job details .....
