Mechanical Fitter - Trailer ChassisLocation: Stoke On Trent ( Longton)Duration: Temp to permDay Shift:730am-5pm Mon to Thurs, 730am-12.30pm Fri Rate: DOE We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to work on the chassis of trailers within an engineering/manufacturing environment. Duties include: Mechanical fitting and assembly of trailer chassis Building and fitting components to engineering drawings Using hand and power tools Installing mechanical components, brackets, axles and associated equipment Checking completed work to ensure it meets required standards General mechanical assembly and fitting duties The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter Experience working on trailer chassis, heavy vehicles or similar equipment Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Good mechanical fitting and assembly skills Confident using hand and power tools Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic SUBJECT TO A DandA TEST Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
